PRODUCT SOURCING 270818

The last week of August had my calendar full of events that I attended which helped me keep on top of the products out there.

Monday 27th August I visited the Source Home + Object Trade Show and met some lovely people and viewed lots of gorgeous products.

From gorgeous bedlinens and lighting at Bianca Lorenne to bold minimalistic bathroom accessories from Made from Tomorrow and the super colourful and stunning cushions from Hobbs & Co I came away super inspired and itching to specify these wonderful products into an interior scheme.

If you see something you love get in touch and we can work on how to get some of this gorgeousness into your home.

Again!

The nights are getting cooler already so it's not a silly idea to start thinking about changing up our decor to take that into account.

These are my picks from The Warehouse's new homewares collection...

I will definitely be getting some of these items for my house, let me know what you choose for yours!

Chrysalis Design Loves....Feature Walls

Ohhhhh shock horror...feature walls. The bane of some designers existence, the opportunity for Colour and creativity for others. I like feature walls, I'm not one of those, ahem, snobby designers that lament that "feature walls are soooooo done". Not at all.

Buckle up and let's "break the rules" by enjoying some stunning feature walls....

I absolutely love pressed tin and this application is gorgeous, the owners of this TriBeCa loft (oh to own one!) took the original panelling off the ceiling and used it on the wall in this bedroom.

White pressed tin adds fantastic texture and dimension to an all white scheme but dark painted pressed tin or metallic like this stunning wall is where spaces come to life...

Wallpaper and photo murals make outstanding features...

I think this look is fantastic in dining rooms...picture candlelight on the dining table reflected in the distressed patina of these mirrors...

Last but not least painted walls....probably the cheapest way to add interest to your room whether you tape off shapes and create a geometic feature...

...or simply using a dark or contrasting colour to highlight architectural details...
