Birthday Weekend booked!

In case you didn't know, the Mr and I share a birthday. Yup, lucky huh....hmmmm. He likes it, I don't! I think your birthday should be all about YOU and it's hard to have a day all about yourself when you have to consider that it's your partner's birthday too. I mean who makes breakfast in bed?! Anyhoo...

So for the first time ever we have booked to go away! We're heading to Rotovegas and I'm super excited. I haven't been to Rotorua since I worked for Mico Bathrooms waaaaayyy back in the day. It was a flying visit and we didn't do any sight-seeing. So it's been between 12-14 years!

Oh...and we're not taking the kidlets. Thanks Mum & Dad!

Super excited about staying at the Princes Gate Boutique Hotel, check it out. Look at that historic facade. I hope it lives up to it's old world charms!

So far on the agenda (because I'm a planner)...

• The gondola and Luge (never been on the Luge!)
• Dinner out somewhere on the Saturday night - our actual birthday
• Visit some thermal activity sites...I really want to see bubbling mud...is that weird? haha
• Walk around the Goverment Gardens

Any other recommendations for while we are there?
